      Keep 'Green Road' free of traffic
            I live on the ocean block of Cottage Place in Long Branch. My parents built this home in the 1950s. Throughout my entire lifetime, Ocean Avenue between Brighton Avenue and Bath Avenue has been closed to traffic. Throughout the years, I have spent countless hours with my family enjoying walks, bicycle rides and other recreational activities on this road.

      Public forum should decide Ocean Avenue plan
            As a resident of Long Branch, I have been reading what our city planners are proposing with regard to Ocean Avenue, and I think there are other alternatives on how to bring people to the beach without having them drive up to the water's edge to unload beach chairs, causing a hazard for the people that use the boardwalk.
