The Arc of Monmouth's ninth annual "Step Up for The Arc" walk held recently raised approximately $40,000 for individuals with cognitive disabilities. The event was held at Liberty Park II, Tinton Falls. Students and staff at St. Rose Elementary School, Belmar, also held a mini-walk at the school, which raised approximately $5,000 for The Arc.

The Arc of Monmouth, Tinton Falls, serves more than 1,500 individuals with mental retardation and their families each year with education, vocational training, residential services, health care, supported employment, recreation, social services and advocacy.
