Center schedules blood drives in April

Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, has announced the following local blood drives:

+ April 10, 2-8 p.m., a Rumson PTA drive at Forrestdale School, Forrestdale Avenue, Rumson.

+ April 26, 10 am.-2 p.m. at Monmouth Regional High School, 535 Tinton Ave., Tinton Falls.

+ April 26, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Monmouth University, Cedar and Larchwood Avenues, West Long Branch.

The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must also complete a medical history interview and have a mini-physical (temperature, iron, pulse and blood pressure screening). Interested donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds.
