Wayside School celebrates Read Across America
      OCEAN TOWNSHIP - - Wayside Elementary School welcomed Kean University football Coach Dan Garrett and 18 Kean University football players on March 2, to celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss' 102nd birthday. Wearing their football jerseys, the college athletes read Dr. Seuss books to each class at Wayside School and emphasized the importance of reading.

      LONG BRANCH - - The students and parents of Morris Avenue School were "off to see the wizard" Tuesday, Feb. 13. The grades K-2 school was decorated and transformed into Munchkin land with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion heading straight for the Emerald City.

March of Dimes madness!
      LONG BRANCH - Throughout the months of February, March and April, students at Long Branch Middle School will be raising funds to benefit the March of Dimes. The goal is to raise $3,000 in the next three months.

      OCEAN TOWNSHIP - Ocean Township High School's West Park Players will present "Into the Woods" this evening at 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens. The musical will be presented in the high school auditorium, 550 West park Avenue in Oakhurst.
