Cox wins Eastern States, 4x400 relay team is third
      The indoor track and field season has been all about time for Monmouth Regional's Charles Cox. The Golden Falcon speedster has wanted to run faster with each race, and he has done just that. In the process, he kept finishing in first and proved that he was the best 400-meter runner in the state, winning the NJSIAA Indoor Meet of Champions.

Shore Athletic Club names its 2007 award-winners
      New Jersey high school state cross country champions Craig Forys of Colts Neck and Danielle Tauro of Southern Regional were among the track and field athletes recognized by the Shore Athletic Club. Forys and Tauro, whose talents carried over to the track where they were All-Americans, were named the Boy's and Girl's High School Athlete of the Year at the club's annual banquet.

      Fish On Return of winter stalls early striped bass fishing In search of the first striped bass of the year was not as easy as I thought. Opening day was Thursday, March 1. I searched as far south as Exit 58 on the Garden State Parkway. Bloodworms were the bait of choice, which was almost impossible to even find.
