Entries sought for Ocean Student Photo Contest
      The Third Annual Ocean Student Photo Contest for high school students in Monmouth and Ocean counties is currently accepting entries. Pictures must be submitted by March 17 and will be judged locally at that time. Selected pictures will be submitted to the National Youth Showcase Contest conducted by the Photographic Society of America. Last year 75 photos were sent to the national contest.

Eatontown Elks to hold dinner, St. Patty's event
      The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Eatontown Lodge 2402 will hold a roast beef dinner with salad and dessert March 2 from 5-7 p.m. at the Lodge at 216 Broad St. Dinners are held the first Friday of each month. Cost is $7, and $6 for seniors, and take-out is available. The Lodge will host its annual St. Patrick's Day dinner March 17 from noon to 7 p.m.
