Dorothy J. Mullen
Mrs. Mullen, 83, of Ocean, died Jan. 25, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She resided in Shadow Lake Village, Middletown, prior to relocating to Ocean. She was an investment vice president at the Bank of New York, Maywood, retiring in 1985. During her childhood, she was a tap dancer, performing at several venues including Radio City Music Hall, New York City. She was a former treasurer at the Shadow Lake Condo Board, and member of its bocce club. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1967. She is survived by a son, Bill Mullen of Ocean; a daughter, Pam Mullen of New York City; a brother, Howard Avallon of Toms River; two grandchildren; and a niece. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment was at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Katherine F. Mira Tomaini
Mrs. Tomaini, 78, of Point Pleasant, died Feb. 11, 2007, at Claremont Care Center, Point Pleasant. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she resided in Long Branch prior to relocating to Point Pleasant 13 years ago. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed time with her family. She was predeceased by a brother, Louis Mira. She is survived by her husband Frank A. Tomaini of Long Branch; a son, Anthony P. of Dagsboro, Del.; a daughter and son-in-law, LouAnn and David Brown of Point Pleasant; three granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren. Maryann Menna
Mrs. Menna, 84, of Long Branch, died Feb. 2, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a lifelong resident of Red Bank, prior to relocating to Long Branch five years ago. She was a seamstress for Sigmund Eisner, Red Bank, during World War II. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She enjoyed time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Albert; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Kathy of Red Bank; a daughter, Linda Alberto of Long branch; a brother, Thomas Mazzaroppi of the Belford section of Middletown; two sisters, Bessie LoPresti of California, and Alice Kaney of Ohio; and two grandchildren. Olga Eitelberg
Olga B. Eitelberg, 87, of Freehold Township died Jan. 10, 2007, at home. Born in Newark, she had lived in South Orange before settling in Freehold Township in 1973. Mrs. Eitelberg owned and operated Town & Country, Maplewood, and was also the store's clothing designer and seamstress. She later owned and operated the Korner Gift and Stationery store, South Orange. She also worked at Silhouette women's clothing store, Freehold. She was a member of the first graduating class of Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. Olga had a great love of oil painting and the arts. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. Mrs. Eitelberg was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Lipski and a sister, Natalie Sinisgalli. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Alfred Eitelberg of Freehold Township; one son and his wife, Mark and Debbie Eitelberg of Salinas, Calif.; two daughters, Judith Eitelberg of Miami, and Dori Eitelberg of Ocean Township; two grandsons; and two nephews and their families. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Entombment took place at Maplewood Township Cemetery, Freehold Township. Patrick Joseph McGloin
Mr. McGloin of Little Silver, died Feb. 6, 2007, at home following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born in Bergenfield. He was the owner and operator of McGloin Buick/Open, and McGloin Buick GMC and Subaru, Red Bank. Prior to that, he was vice president and general manager at Bob White Buick, Red Bank, a district manager at General Motors, and won several awards as an outstanding New Jersey automobile dealer. He was a communicant of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Rumson. He was a member of the Rumson Planning Board, and New Jersey Automobile Dealer Council. He was predeceased by a brother, Edmund. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maria; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Maryann McGloin of Oceanport, Elaine and Todd Dixon, and Julie and Ken Gunther, all of Fair Haven, and Jennifer and John Yarusi of Tinton Falls; two sons, Chris Weaver McGloin of San Diego, Calif., and James McGloin of Los Angeles; three sisters, Ann Marie Bruno of Florida, Kathleen Holmes of Montvale, and Bernadette McGloin of New York; and seven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Cross Church. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
