      Mr. Smith, 58, of Dexter Township, North Lake, Mich., died Dec. 4, 2006, at home. Born in Long Branch, he resided in the Long Branch and West Long Branch area prior to moving to Dexter Township. He was a Michigan sales representative for Henredon, and Ralph Lauren Furniture. He served on the Dexter Township Planning Commission. He was a Life Scout with Boy Scout Pack 45, West Long Branch.

      Mr. Laurino, 87, of Oceanport, died Dec. 14, 2006, at home. He had been a resident of Oceanport for approximately 20 years. He and his brother co-owned a contracting and excavating business in Oceanport for several years, and Mr. Laurino was still employed in his profession. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen; and a granddaughter, Dawn Byrnes, in 1998.

      Mr. Simmons, 67, of Middletown, died Dec. 4, 2006, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark, he resided there, Keansburg, Port-au-Peck, and Rumson prior to relocating to Middletown 28 years ago. He was a carpenter at Shadow Lake Village, Shadow Lake section of Middletown.

      Mrs. Marshall, 72, of Freehold, died Dec. 8, 2006, at home. Born in Long Branch, she had resided in Freehold for most of her life. Prior to retiring in 1993, she was employed as a certified nurse aide at the John L. Montgomery Medical Home, Freehold Township, for more than 20 years.
