            The Red Bank Parks and Recreation is co-hosting an adult co-ed half court indoor basketball league (three-on-three) on Tuesday nights beginning Jan. 23 at Red Bank Middle School. The game times will run from 7:30-9:30 p.m. The league is open to all Red Bank residents 21 years old and over, and nonresidents are welcome.

            Ken Carlson believes that in order for his Red Bank Catholic High School ice hockey team to be able to play well in the postseason, his players must be subjected to a high level of competition throughout the campaign. As a result, Carlson routinely sets up one of the toughest schedules in the state as a means of preparing his team.

            After a strong showing at the Neptune Classic, the young Long Branch wrestling team seems to have a lot to look forward to this winter. Much to the surprise of head coach Dan George. The young Green Wave team lost four wrestlers from last season to graduation, all of whom were 25-plus match-winners.
