      Anne H. Goodkin

      Mrs. Goodkin, 82, of Boynton Beach, Fla., and formerly Long Branch died Nov. 6, 2006, at home. Born in Long Branch, she resided there prior to moving to Boynton Beach in 1978. She was a retired employee in the payroll department at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown. She was a member of Congregation Brothers of Israel, Long Branch, and Temple Beth Kodesh, Boynton Beach. She was predeceased by her husband, Abraham Goodkin; and a son, Howard Goodkin. She is survived by a son, Michael B. Goodkin, M.D. and his wife, Carole of Rose Valley, Pa.; a sister, Doris Berliner of Santa Monica, Calif.; and two granddaughters. Arrangements were by Bloomfield-Cooper Funeral Home, Ocean Township.

      John W. Zeigler

      Mr. Zeigler, 81, of Monmouth Beach, died Nov. 3, 2006, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Pompton Lakes, he resided in Cliffside Park, and Verona; and Naples, Fla., prior to moving to Monmouth Beach in April. He was a self-employed food entrepreneur based in Moonachie, retiring in 1976. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II, as a POW in Stalig 9B. He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, John F. Zeigler of Secaucus, and Danny and Karen Zeigler of Rumson; a daughter, Diane Zeigler of Tinton Falls; a sister, Mary Wilholm of Arizona; and two granddaughters. Burial was at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis National Society, 246 Monmouth Road, Deal 07723; or The American Diabetes Association, 19 Schoolhouse Road, Somerset 08873.
