George C. Richter
Mr. Richter, 89, of the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, died Oct. 20, 2006, at St. Barnabas Hospice, Long Branch. He owned Richter's Garage, Elberon section of Long Branch, for more than 60 years. He was a charter member of the Elberon First Aid Squad and a life member of Elberon Engine Company No. 4. He was predeceased by his wife, Brigid Richter, in 1992; and three brothers, Richard, Albert and Walter. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Frank Rose; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Joan Richter; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End section of Long Branch. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch. Marie G. Cosentino
Mrs. Cosentino, 80, of West Long Branch, died Oct. 21, 2006, at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, following a lengthy illness. Born in Trenton, she resided in West Long Branch for more than 60 years. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch, where she was a member of the Holy Trinity Seniors. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Fire Company No. 2, West Long Branch. She was an avid poker player, and enjoyed Atlantic City. She was predeceased by a sister, Lucy Jones. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alexander "Bottom" Cosentino; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John A. Cosentino, Alexander J. and Linda Cosentino Jr., and Anthony and Grace Cosentino, all of West Long Branch; a brother, Anthony R. Siciliano of Neptune; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dee Dee and Sam Vinci of Brooksville, Fla., and Toni Ann and Butch Dahrouge of Belmar; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church. Interment was at Monmouth Memorial Park Cemetery, Tinton Falls. Arrangements were by Fiore Funeral Home, West Long Branch.
Rose M. "Rosie" Davino Mocci
Mrs. Mocci, 86, of Matawan, died Oct. 17, 2006, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, following a battle with cancer. Born in Matawan, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Mocci was a homemaker. She was a communicant and former choir member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, and a communicant of St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, Matawan, where she was a member of St. Clement's Seniors. She volunteered at the cafeteria at St. Joseph's School, Keyport, for several years. Mrs. Mocci is survived by her husband, William; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Arlene Mocci of the Wayside section of Ocean Township; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Donald Allen of Naples, Fla., and Marie and Paul Carini of Matawan; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Geran of Matawan, and Frances and Arthur Young of New York; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Gloria Davino of Pennsylvania; and one granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, followed by entombment at the church's mausoleum. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
Eric Robert Schreck
Mr. Schreck, 23, of Silverdale, Wash., died Oct. 9, 2006, at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Mass. Born in Calais, Maine, he was raised in Silverdale, Wash., and Eatontown, prior to relocating to Silverdale in September. He was a student at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams, Mass. Prior to that, he was employed at PNC Bank, Eatontown. He was a Seaman Apprentice in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. He enjoyed photography, reading, the beach, and restoring classic wooden sailboats. He was predeceased by his father, Peter J. Schreck, in May 2006. He is survived by his mother, Marlene, his stepfather, Michael, and sister, Shalene Mitchell, all of Silverdale, Wash.; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Kathleen Schreck of Belgrade Lakes, Maine; and his stepmother, Susan Schreck and siblings Emilija, Beth and Timothy Schreck, all of Edgartown, Mass. A memorial service was held at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Memorial donations may be made to the Eric R.
