"Toward Sunset" by Charles Brandenburg The 64th annual Open Juried Exhibition by the New Jersey Water Color Society will run through Oct. 29 at the Monmouth Museum and Cultural Center.

Gallery demonstrations by local artists will take place each Sunday in October from 2 to 4 p.m. - Oct. 8, the demonstration will be by Nessa Grainger; Oct. 15, Jane Lux; Oct. 22, Marge Chavooshian; and Oct. 29, Anthony Ventura.

The New Jersey Watercolor Society was founded in 1938 to further appreciation of watercolors by New Jersey artists. The Web site is www.njwcs.org.

The Monmouth Museum is located on the campus of Brookdale Community College in the Lincroft section of Middletown.
