SCAN to offer medical programs during August

SCAN Learning Center, Monmouth Mall, Eatontown, will host several lectures.

"Managing When You Are a Caregiver: What You Need to Know (Parts 1 and 2)" will be presented 1-3 p.m. Aug. 2 and 16 by Laura R. Tenenbaum, J.D., of Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.

"Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse" will be presented 1-3 p.m. Aug. 23 by Daniel Kim, M.D., of the medical center.

"Menopause and Beyond" will be presented by Rahab Khalil, M.D., of Monmouth, 1-3 p.m. Aug. 30.

The lectures are free to SCAN members, and membership is open to individuals age 50 and older. Registration is required. To register, call (732) 542-1326.

Watercraft, safe boating course Aug. 5, 6

Coast Boating School, Toms River, will conduct a personal watercraft and safe boating course under New Jersey State law Aug. 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the West Marine Store, routes 35 and 36, Eatontown. For fee or more information, call (877) 262-8723.
