The eighth annual Art in the Park was held May 28 under warm, sunny skies. We thank all of the artists who took part and all who attended, making this year another huge success.

We also give special thanks to Nancy Kleiberg and Jo Ann Tuzzio who gave up their morning to help, and Mary George and Karen Spengler who spent the day helping us. We were fortunate to have some of the members of Boy Scout Troop 145 and the Long Branch Police Explorers Post 167 who all assisted the artists in unloading their cars and carrying their belongings to their assigned area. Many thanks also to Lou De Lauro and his great DPW crew, the Long Branch police, and especially Barry Stein who has been with us every step of the way every year.

Now that we are moving to Florida, and will no longer be in charge of Art in the Park, Dr. Gabor Barabas of the Long Branch Arts Council has agreed to take over this event.

We wish the arts council much success.
