Ladacin Network, Wanamassa section of Ocean Township, recently nominated International Flavors & Fragrances Inc., Union Beach, and the company was selected as winner of the Business Group Volunteer Award from the Volunteer Center of Monmouth County at its recognition luncheon. The company - a corporate guardian sponsor of Ladacin - was nominated for its employees' volunteer activities at Ladacin. Ladacin provides educational, therapeutic, social, residential and support services to infants, children and adults with developmental and multiple physical disabilities.
Leslie Morris, a native of Long Branch, has been named director of community relations at the New Jersey Primary Health Care Association, Princeton. She will handle training of health care providers in matters regarding the state of New Jersey FamilyCare, Medicaid, and Medicare Part D. Morris will also help implement statewide public relations and marketing activities for community health centers.
A graduate of Long Branch High School, Morris holds a bachelor of arts degree from Simmons College, Boston; a master's degree in psychiatric social work from Boston College, and a master's degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Eatontown resident Robert L. Smith, a pharmacist and 15-year veteran of University Hospital, Newark, has been nominated as Five Star Service Employee of the Year 2005. The program honors employees for extraordinary performance and customer service. Smith is a graduate of Monmouth University, West Long Branch, and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
Dawn Vardakas, Monmouth Beach, has joined the sales staff of independent consultants at Megan's Pantry, headquartered in Sandia Park, N.M. The company offers culinary gifts sold both individually and gift boxed. Vardakas will hold gatherings where customers can sample Megan's Pantry foods, and share recipes and meal suggestions. Lorraine Lynch, Oceanport, was recently promoted to vice president of human resources and training at Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union, Toms River. She will oversee policy development and implementation. Prior to being promoted, she was human resources manager since 1999, and was employed at K. Hovnanian Enterprises, Red Bank. Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union has a local office in Middletown.
