Vitas 1 Meridian Road, Eatontown, will hold a five-hour volunteer orientation class April 8 at 9 a.m. Materials and meals will be provided for free.

The class is for individuals interested in becoming a hospice volunteer and giving time to terminally ill patients and families. Volunteers visit private homes or nursing homes.
