Christopher P. Tesoro Mr. Tesoro, 72, of Eatontown, died Feb. 14 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in New York City, he resided in Keansburg He was employed in the Communications Satellite Division at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, as well as a real estate broker. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Monmouth County Mental Health Board, Freehold. He is survived by four sons, Joseph, Christopher and Paul Tesoro, and Jim Bauer; a brother, Ciro Tesoro; and several grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, with interment at the church’s cemetery. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
Russell C. Iglay Mr. Iglay, 86, of Highlands, died Feb. 16 at Care One Care Center at King James, Middletown. Born in Newark, he resided in Middletown before moving to Highlands 30 years ago. Before his retirement in 1995, Mr. Iglay was a carpenter with Carpenters Union Local No. 2250, Red Bank, for 35 years. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was awarded the Victory Medal, American Theater Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Pacific Theater Medal. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 1000, Trenton. He was predeceased by his former wife, Eva Iglay, in 2004; a brother, Hollister C. Iglay, in 2005; and a niece, Holli Ann Iglay. Mr. Iglay is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Wendy Iglay, and June and Fred Chalmers, all of Middletown; a sister, Dolores Reilly of Eatontown; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
Paul J. Bosak Jr. Mr. Bosak, 37, of Beachwood, died Feb. 22 at Community Memorial Hospital, Toms River. Born in Long Branch, he resided in Eatontown before moving to Beachwood several years ago. Mr. Bosak was a paver at Guzzi Paving, Toms River, for 14 years. He was predeceased by his father, Paul Bosak Sr., in 2005; and his mother, Patricia Harvey Bosak, in 2001. He is survived by a sister, Stacy Bosak of Forked River; two brothers, Edward Bosak of Seaside Heights and Matthew Bosak of Beachwood; a son, Paul Bosak III of Beachwood; and several nieces and nephews. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements. Dorothy Evelyn “Evie” Verange Mrs. Verange, 90, of Middletown, died Feb. 16. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had resided in Monmouth Beach and other Monmouth County towns before moving to Middletown. Mrs. Verange was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Holmdel Fire Auxiliary and the Red Bank Elks. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Beth Verange of North Andover, Mass., and Philip and Susan Verange of Little Silver. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements.
Kingdon Ruldolf Westerlind Mr. Westerlind, 77, of Monmouth Beach, died Jan. 24 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was raised in Babylon, N.Y., and later moved to Middletown. Mr. Westerlind was the president of King Construction, Middletown. He also developed and owned several nursing homes and assisted living facilities. He served with the U.S. Navy during peacetime, where he played football and was invited to play in the Hula Bowl. Mr. Westerlind was predeceased by a brother, William. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Geraldine; a son and daughter-in-law, Kingdon G. and Courtney Westerlind of Rumson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Jeffrey Layton of Ocean Township, and Regina and Kenneth Stevenson of Monmouth Beach; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Jeanne Westerlind of Florida, and Noel and Vicki Westerlind of Middletown; a sister-in-law, Linda Westerlind of Long Island, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, West End section of Long Branch. The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
