The American Heart Association (AHA), North Brunswick, has announced February is American Heart Month, with this year’s theme of “Go Red for Women.”

Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer and number one health threat facing women today. The AHA also announced Feb. 3 is “National Wear Red Day for Women,” a public awareness campaign to focus on cardiovascular disease. Several statewide activities will take place during February in honor of American Heart Month.
