SPCA’s ‘Home 4 the Holidays’ now under way

The Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall St., Eatontown, is taking part in the Helen Woodward Animal Center’s 2004 “Home 4 The Holidays” campaign, and will offer a “two for one” adoption special through Jan. 3.

Individuals may adopt two adult cats, or two adult mixed-breed dogs for the price of one. The program was created to raise awareness of the desirability and joys of adopting a shelter animal. Last year, more than 270,000 orphaned pets across the country were adopted during the campaign. The SPCA has extended its adoption hours through Jan. 3, and will be open Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (except Dec. 15) from 1-5 p.m., and Thursday and Friday from 1-6 p.m.

For more information, call the SPCA at (732) 543-0040 or visit the Web site at www.monmouthcountyspca.org.
