The Monmouth County Park System has announced the results of its "Manasquan Reservoir 5-Mile Run," which drew 241 athletes and was held in late September in Howell.

Placing 28th with a time of 37:10.4 was Timothy Conroy, 37, Red Bank. Terence Laffey, 38, Red Bank, placed 58th with a time of 40:13.3. Bob Hayes, 51, Ocean Township, came in 77th at 42:26.9, and David Menist, 62, Little Silver, placed 94th at 44:44.5. Mal Buchner, 62, Little Silver, placed 99th with a time of 45:24.5.

Robert Gutzat, 44, Red Bank, came in 104th at 45:52.8, while Gene Schecher, 44, Eatontown, placed 106th at 46:40.2. Walton Kingsberry, 48, Shrewsbury, placed 124th with a time of 49:06.6. John Kozack, 31, Tinton Falls, came in 145th at 56:22.2.

The women’s division drew 81 competitors, with Michele Ashkenazi, 28, Eatontown, placing 35th at 46:25.3. Terry Hack, 29, Sea Bright, came in 36th at 46:27.4.

Carol Finley, 42, Red Bank, placed 48th at 49:47.5, while Jenny Doyle, 28, Tinton Falls, came in 58th at 50:47.9. Jill Kozack, 32, also Tinton Falls, placed 75th at 56:21.5, and Eileen Murphy, 58, Red Bank, came in 77th at 57:14.1.
