The eighth annual Shrewsbury 5k Classic will be held on Oct. 6 at Shrewsbury School. The 5K will be at 9 a.m.; the one-mile (any style) will be at 8:30 a.m.; and the kiddy dashes will be at 10:30 a.m.. Parking is available at The Grove.
