The Monmouth County Park System has announced the results of its "Run-Bike-Run Race" held at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, Long Branch. The men’s overall division consisted of 201 athletes, while 59 competed in the women’s overall division. The race consisted of a three-mile run, 16-mile bicycle ride to Sandy Hook and back, and another three-mile run.

Local winners in the men’s division were: Chris Hellman, 41, Fair Haven, fourth place with a time of 1:16:47.7; Thomas Crow, 39, Rumson, ninth place, 1:20:28.8; David Wellner, 43, Oceanport, 27th place, 1:26:42.4; Guy Gallo, 46, Little Silver, 29th place, 1:26:58.2; Cliff Rigby, 43, Fair Haven, 35th place, 1:27:48.3; Adrian Harris, 41, Oceanport, 40th place, 1:28:28.6; Neil Marascio, 36, Little Silver, 43rd place, 1:29:03.5; Michael Odell, 32, Tinton Falls, 48th place, 1:29:44.6; Tom Stahl, 46, Sea Bright, 58th place, 1:31:48.3; and William Crow, 33, Rumson, 70th place, 1:33:36.5.
