in brief Theater to hold auditions for ‘Vivianna’ Jan. 5 Over the Rainbow Productions, Eatontown, will hold auditions for the musical drama Vivianna Jan. 5 from 3-6 p.m. at the Eatontown Playhouse, 37-13 Route 35 north. Callbacks will be Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. Needed are singers, dancers and actors ages 20-50. All must prepare 16 bars of a song, provide a tape or CD for accompaniment, and dress to dance. Auditions will be held for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Nunsense Amen, and She Loves Me March 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; callbacks will be March 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A drummer is also needed for the musicals; this is a paid position. Naturalist to address Audubon meeting Jan. 9 The Monmouth County Audubon Society will hold its next meeting Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, White Street, Red Bank. The public is welcome to attend. Naturalist Emile DeVito will be the speaker. A conservation biologist for the N.J. Conservation Foundation, DeVito will present "Pine Barrens Ecology."
