The schedule for the tourney will be issued on Nov. 2, and only confirmed teams will be included. The cost is $300 per team ($350 per team for two or more teams).

The Central Jersey Hawks Boys 13U soccer team will be holding tryouts beginning Oct. 27. To fulfill the age requirements you must be born on or after Sept. 1, 1988 or in the seventh grade. Jason Faigin, a pitcher in the New York Yankees minor league organization, will be offering pitching instruction for players ages 9-14 at the YMCA of Western Monmouth County starting Nov. 5. Faigin, a Marlboro High School graduate, was a closer for the Greensboro Bats, the Yankees’ Single A affiliate in the South Atlantic League this year.
