     It was a little too close for comfort, but the Caseys pulled through. Defending Monmouth County champion Red Bank Catholic, running a little too ambitious, survived a major scare from Middletown South on Oct. 16 before securing its second straight county championship and its seventh in the last nine years.

     Registration for the Holmdel Fall Classic will be closing on Nov. 1. Those planning to attend should send checks to the following address: Travel Team Account, P.O. Box 757, Holmdel, 07733. The schedule for the tourney will be issued on Nov. 2, and only confirmed teams will be included. The cost is $300 per team ($350 per team for two or more teams).
